| Frequently Asked Questions - 1..2..
Q7... If I already have a CCTV system installed, can you advise on how efficient you think it is? That shouldn't be a problem! We can supply standard or customised Performance Assessment Survey (PAS) documents, which on completion will provide a detailed insight into possible weaknesses in the systems overall design and operation. The standard report will contain simple 'bulleted' suggestions which allow you to systematically address and correct any perceived shortcomings in the CCTV system structure. As part of this assessment process, if you e-mail us JPEG images from each camera, we can point out obvious inefficiencies and suggest simple ways to improve them. In the near future, we will also be introducing a multistandard videotape assessment facility, so if you cannot 'capture' images from your system, we will soon be able to review VHS, S-VHS, CD & DVD test recordings forwarded to us by snail mail (postal services). Q8... If I think my installers are right and as consultants you are wrong, what then? We cannot hope to be right all the time, just to apply over twenty six years experience of using CCTV, to fulfil and wherever possible exceed our clients expectations. If we think your installers viewpoint is valid, we will say so; otherwise we will simply have to agree to differ!
Q9... If I instruct the CCTVCREW to carry out some consultancy work for me, how do I know that my information will be treated with the strictest confidentiality? Quite simply, unless we are specifically requested to visit a clients premises (which will only ever happen in extreme cases), we do not need to have any 'identifier' information on the specific location, or indeed the client themself. If you wish to remain anonymous, we will respect your wishes. For Law Enforcement agencies, or Government Departments, a simple client number and password can be posted by us onto a secure server. Anonymity can easily be 'designed in', even to the extent of routine account payments being received by money transfer arrangements, if requested.
Q10... If I submit all of the requested information, how long will it take for the consultancy work to be completed? Firstly, for obvious reasons of security we will not automatically take on every piece of work offered to us. If for any reason we do not feel comfortable with a particular request or project (at any stage), we reserve the right to refuse the work. If an instruction is accepted, we will provide a schedule detailing the various stages along with the estimated completion targets and appropriate payment dates. Obviously each project will require varying amounts of research and therefore different time scales for completion.
In the first instance, any potential clients initial inquiry for a new project, would hopefully receive a response from us within 3 working days
