| About the CCTVCREW Where do we begin? The present state of the CCTV industry in the U.K.,
is very much biased towards marketing the brilliant technology,
without always keeping sight of the key objectives.
The CCTVCREW have decided to provide an 'alternative' approach to
Closed Circuit Television consultancy.
The established concept of a sharp suited expert, developing the
design for a 'state of the art' CCTV system, whilst charging upwards of a
thousand pounds a day for the privelage, is not something that the 'crew'
would be tempted to emulate (perhaps tempted is not the right word!).
Our approach is based squarely on applying some semblance of technical
analysis to each stage of the design process, long before the first piece
of equipment is ever detailed on the clients must have shopping list
(or "detailed technical specification", as some may prefer to call it!).
To put it bluntly, it's the application that gets our juices flowing, and not
simply an ongoing love affair with all things technical.
Our principle consultant, has almost 30 years experience of
applying the complete range of CCTV equipment, for more applications
than he cares to remember.
Overt or covert, commercial, residential, industrial, criminal investigations,
high security sites, vehicles and transport systems, scientific research,
manufacturing, agriculture, medical, construction, aviation, education,
videomicrography, underwater, airborne, remote locations, in arctic or
tropical conditions .... the list goes on and on!
Shame he's at that funny age where he can't remember the half of them.
